CSR
Corporate Social Responsibility is promoted with passion at Netscribes. Efforts to reach out and touch lives mark this endeavor. We ensure a strict adherence to business ethics and strive to contribute to the wellbeing of the society we draw sustenance from. Our festive celebrations acquire more meaningful dimensions due to our CSR initiatives.
The infectious smiles and warm welcome from innocent children we visit at various NGOs enrich our lives. Unbridled creativity and talent amidst these cherubs renew our pledge to persist at such initiatives with greater zest. Other than children we also reach out to differently-abled people, the underprivileged and the deprived. We are strong advocates of literacy amongst children and are also passionate about fighting environmental pollution because we want our planet to be a great place to live for future generations.

CSR events in 2007
One of our heartwarming and invigorating experiences was in the festive season of Durga Puja and Diwali. We organized a trip to the orphanage, run by the All Bengal Women’s Union and danced and played with the children spreading joy and happiness.
Christmas came knocking at Netscribes with a plethora of events and festivities. While playing angels and godchildren in-house, we also tried to play Santa for the children of ABWU and went to distribute toys, clothes and sweets that we had collected.

The most amazing experience was the drawing competition we had organized for the children of ABWU on Holi. Their wizardry with colors left us spell bound and the pictures enlivened our office walls for months.
We partnered with the Childrens’s Literary Academy and Spencers to promote creative thinking and reading habits among children.
We also took a pledge to promote Mission Green Earth across our centers in support of a world wide initiative.
It was a sparkling Diwali for us at All Bengal women’s union with fireworks, sweets and unbridled laughter.
During the Christmas and New Year celebrations we visited Margam, an NGO that tutors underprivileged children. The little angels there had organized a splendid show for us and had us rolling with laughter and jiving along with them.
We also visited Akansha centres,a non-profit organization that works primarily in the field of education, addressing non formal education through the Akanksha centre and also formal education through the Akanksha Schools. We started the day with playing Football & Frisbee with the children. After an exhausting session on the field it was time for some FUN. One of our employees had posed as Santa Claus for the children, distributing gifts & snacks. The visit concluded with the students dancing & singing to bollywood music.

Holi was a riot of colors for us both in-house and at ABWU where the children’s glee splashed brighter strokes on the canvas of our lives than the colors.
We are participating in a workshop to promote literary awareness and creativity among children along with Children’s Literary Academy again this year.
Partnering for the Greater Good
Netscribes is actively involved with various social programs sponsored by GiveIndia.org, a donation platform that allows you to support a cause of your choice from about 100 NGOs. In addition, the firm also provides no-cost design and development support for GiveIndia’s various marketing and promotional needs, including banners and posters.
We hope to continue building bridges of meaning while we expand our horizons beyond corporate life.
